Would you believe it? Cars wouldn't bliddy play. We took the disk out after it had made strange noises for too long and looked at it and it's rather scratched. This saddens me. It'll probably still work in a proper dvd player though.
My studio is all sorted, I took most of the stuff off my walls and just piled it up on my desk because then it's much better presented. I even sewed some paper together into a book, not much, it's only a small one, but it reminded me of the ones we'd done at embroidery and how I should probably make all of my notebooks by hand.
Both of our Psychology bits today were about knowing how to act in situations and where we get this knowledge from. It wasn't too dull and provided interesting discussions in our seminars where we had to provide as much as we knew about both Katie Price and Gordon Brown.
Easter Quiz night at SSAGO tonight. That's after James and I finish off the mince from yesterday that filled two massive peppers with plenty to spare. It was scrummy.
Soooo, as I can't go in the studios tomorrow (due to them marking) I feel that I should put my attention towards my room, tidy, sort, fold, pile, re-arrange, vacuum, clean and pack etc. Also, I should probably go put a wash on and leave my towels fairly clean before I go home.
Going to clean and repaint my nails now like the girl I am.
They will be Harry Potter crest flavour.

Security breach
I've just ordered the "I look better in purple" tops that Charlie is selling. Pretty spiffy. I adore purple and I want to get it back in my wardrobe. That's why the two tops I bought in New York were purple.
Art History was nearly all summary today and a lot of group discussions. This made the time go faster so all in all it was a good thing!
My hyacinth plant has gone brown on the tips... It's been behind the curtain and because it has no flower I've completely neglected it... I think I have to water it for the bulbs to regrow next year so I'll just quickly do that... I can't bring it home over Easter though due to training it so it'll probably just fully die then.
I've worked on my art quite a bit today, experimenting and planning. I have to do some wall arranging tomorrow but then just leave it so it can be marked on Wednesday.
We've been sent an email that is reprimanding someone in Slaidburn for leaving and/or forcing the doors to stay open. This has been evident but I thought it was a fault in the system and not that someone was doing it maliciously. GRARGH.
Well, I should finish this off because I need to buy peppers so that James and I can do STUFFED PEPPERS for tea! Scrummy.

Sunday (it really is/was!)
Avatar was good. I'll admit I was captivated by the storyline and totally in tune with the characters that were good and properly in hate with the bad guys. The luminescence was insane and very pretty.
Energy drain from sitting through such a long film hit and so I had one of the best nights of sleep in ages.
I was just SO comfortable I didn't want to get up, but we did and watched Heroes.
Today disappeared in the way that Sundays do, with a bit of work, watching videos online (the end of Skins) reading blogs, getting a phonecall from Nana, reading the B3ta newsletter and napping.
We've got the other burgers tonight (not pork and apple like last night that were VERY good) just beefy ones. So I guess we'll be back over to James' to cook them and I'll try and get him to watch Cars, maybe, at last?
(/Note: We were going to watch Cars over the Christmas holidays... see it's 3 months later and we still haven't!)
James is asleep right now though so I'm being quiet and waiting for Hazelizabeth to upload!
All is well that ends well and this weekend looks like it will end well.
This coming week brings our last Art History lecture (we have a final essay to write over Easter), at some point doing a final wash before the holidays, vacuuming (which I dislike having to tidy for) packing, writing, hopefully reading and sleeping. No films at the cinema so I think we'll watch through some dvds but then leave them at Uni for family to pick up when they bring us back (because adding them to my train luggage would be silly). I've already put the books for Hazel (PT and BMB) in my bag so that I don't forget em.
Other things of note are bound to occur and I endeavour to keep you all (*cough*) updated.

Soundtrack
We're currently listening to all of the Halo (you know, the xbox game) soundtrack. It's actually pretty awesome, there is rarely singing and most of it is just ethereal instrumental relaxing music. Every now and then though you get a very sinister sequence that makes me feel like I'm being pursued or some such event.
We're having Saturday afternoon relax time after coming back from town. We only did a minor shop as we won't actually need much before the weekend, and that is the end of term. We've bought some fresh burgers and mince from the butchers which should be very interesting and hopefully scrumptious.
To be honest, this morning, before setting out, we did very little. The very little included making the 5 minute mug cake from facebook and watching The Bubble. Both which needed very little effort but were activities of merit.
Tonight is Avatar in 2D at the Uni cinema and I'm reet looking forward to it. We're going to MAKE SURE we get there early as to obtain our seats. OUR seats as in the same two we pretty much always sit in. It's great, but much less comfortable than the actual cinema. Ah well.
I'd quite like to watch a load of youtube videos now but as we've got the soundtrack on I shan't.

SO GOOD
Said in the style of Teen Girl Squad.
So last night was comedy night and it was fantastic.
We did turn up a bit too early but it meant we got any seat we wanted (we picked the third row). The warm up act was a singer/song writer called John and he played a few Coldplay songs, Teenage Dirtbag AND a mash up song of Busted - Year 3000 and Sweet Home Alabama which was awesome.
Jimmy McGhie was our "compare" which just meant he had three small sets around the other two amazing acts Andi Osho and Jon Richardson.
Jon made a joke up on the night he said he'd probably forget about Richard Dawkins testing us, just like God. It was funny when he said it (I've shortened it down).
That ended rather late (for an event and for us as we're not the type to stay out late, like, ever) and so at half eleven we headed to bed.
This morning I had life drawing from 9 til 11 were we only did the warm up and one sustained drawing which I'm really proud of but I forgot to take a photo so it's not inserted here.
After that I hung around until I got too hungry and then went and bought a sandwich and watched a program that Mum had recommended.
At tea time I made "Chinese chicken noodles with peas" skipping out the garlic and bacon part. It was well good, especially as Andrew and his girlfriend, Tom and Matt were all eating takeaway Chinese and Adam was sat there with the unscorched part of his Pizza.
OH, in good other news our kitchen is finally tidy and clean again!
This evening we saw the film "Where the Wild Things Are" it was consistently sad but utterly beautiful.
"We could have a smartboard that is like an LED tv, no not like that, like a plasma. Projected from behind because it's better quality like that I think. And then we can play computer games on the big screen. Like Runescape, where you could just poke the screen and stuff. But get a clever futuristic smartboard that knows where things are if they are touched in more than one place at once."

Sorted
Would you believe it?
I'm going to update you on today BEFORE it happens.
Today I've managed to email Caitlin, Rebecca and Marissa before this Psycho lab started.
We're talking about how books are carried, for the third week in a row.
This keyboard is very loud.
After this lab session I have to get food, go and pick up my prescription, sort out a mother's day card for Nana (as I sent Mum's yesterday). Then sit and get some artwork done before this evening. We'll have to eat early tonight because I have a SSAGO exec meeting a 6 and the comedy starts at half 7.
It's prophesied to go on 'til late, like 11:30... So I doubt I'd be in the mood to blog then.
I'm a fairly happy camper today, wearing my "orange" trousers again JUST BECAUSE I CAN.
I wish I could listen to music in this session, but it's not advisable because then I wouldn't be able to hear any instructions!

Spifflicate
There was one time that Caitlin used that word and thought it was just part of the family, a made up thing her Gran said. Yet the word spifflicate DOES exist outside the Bent household and it means "to tear limb from limb".
This word has nothing to do with my day, but damn did it make a more interesting intro than "Today I got up and went over to art and worked there 'til lunch time", which is in fact what I did.
We had really good bacon sandwiches for lunch, went to the post office, the doctors (as I need MORE moisturiser), down to southwest so we could find out where Jon is going to be tomorrow and then back to mine to listen to podcasts. Hell yes. A rather good day I would say.
Our tea tonight was chilli/mince with rice, it was so very yummy.
I'm writing this then I'll read Hazel's blog out loud AND THEN James'll write his blog.
"It's like a two player game but with myself" -James 5 minutes ago as he played #keep the balloon off the floor#.
"Haha, it's like a four player game!"
"Oh no, oh no, oh no"
"Phew, I even had to move for that one"
"Liz you should do this because it's like excerize"
"Gosh I wish I had two balloons"
"It's like tennis, four player tennis but with me lying on a bed"
