We had an early start today which involved picking horses for the Grand National.
(The one and only time we bet each year.)
I picked one called Eric's Chance (which, when the race ran at 4:15 fell on the first hurdle) and Dream Alliance (sort of for James but we decided to share whatever either won) this horse stayed in for a fair while but then fell too.
We went to the coastal highlight that is Souter Lighthouse, ate fantastic Fish and Chips from Coleman's, visited Baltic in Gateshead and returned to my Nana's house to watch the race.
Tonight we had a Ranger night meet up and meal, just Jen (and her baby Sam), Hazel, Caitlin and I.
We returned to Dr.Who and chocolate (home made by Mum) slice.
All is well and James and I are about to watch some Red vs. Blue and perhaps some Flight of the Conchords season TWO!
