Disorderly

I don't know what's happening today.
I've tried to do some Winter's Tale context.
I've done plenty of thinking.
I'm up for going out but I'm not entirely sure what is going on.
So I'm posting early so as to not miss out on the post if I end up going out, if at all.
It's the end of 2008.
Wow.
Baffling.
I have to make a list of things I want to complete within the next year.
I'll do that tomorrow.

:D

Nahniiight.

Deliberate

I was looking at Sarah's photobucket today... instead of working clearly.
My favourites include:

Mental.

I'm really sad that tomorrow is the last official fiveawesomeguys video.
I'm a freak I admit it but really.
It's over!

I'm enjoying a good music burst from Fleet Foxes as recommended by Josh and provided by my dear cousin.

:D

Going to watch Napoleon Dynamite now.

Today was an art day.
Tom Milsom just lost the game for all of us on BlogTV.
Ouch, now you loose!

Dude

My celebratory period is over at last.
Christmas, Second Christmas, Birthday and Third Christmas are over.
We travelled back up from Leeds to have "lunch" at Nana's at half THREE.
The Top Gear special was classic.
I need to start on my homework.
Asshats.

My friends win.

Despite...

... having internet access yesterday I didn't post a blog.
... " " I didn't watch the last ever LAG.
... having some hilarious stuff to recount, recount it.
Instead I went to a lil party at my Auntie's house and talked computers and music with my cousins and Uncle.
It was fab, at one point there were 5 laptops on in the room and nearly everyone had a digital camera out.
Mum got annoyed at the anti-socialness of it so then we played "Articulate".

The crackers had numbered bells in them so we could play tunes.
I got about 12 different books for my birthday.

Memorable quotations from yesterday include:
"It's bunny that Black F..." oh, that was my Auntie, Matt found that absolutely hilarious.
"Oh yeah Matt emailed in to Bid up Tv and got a mention"
"No you sit there this chair is too hard for you"

So there you go!

Devouring books

The title for today's blog was once written into an English essay I wrote.
It's what I do.
Although these days I find it very hard to find the time.
When a book is good enough I make time.
When I was reading the last Potter book (OK, OK, it was the summer holidays) I stayed in bed all day to read it.
When I read the Twilight saga (forgive me) I read them all in under 2 weeks often reading while eating and in the car and in lessons.
I read the last two Young Bond books in under a week.
(I used to read up to 5 books a week but it's no longer practical!)
I got Paper Towns yesterday and I finished it today.
It's beautiful. It's everything you need in a book.
I would lend it to everyone but I don't think I ever want to let it go!
Seriously guys buy it.
Hazel's reading Katherines right now.
Life is GOOD.
I'm 18 tomorrow and only writing this because miraculously there is someone in the vicinity with unprotected wireless. The fools!
Mwhahah.

Well that's all I have time for, once again.
I've got to upload a video.
BYE!

Thursday 25 December 2008

Don't forget today!

I woke up after one of the nicest dreams ever.
I felt happy.
I realised John Green must be a genius even more than previously if I can feel so happy when I finally understand the Black Santa joke.
I LOVED the Dr Who Christmas special.
Our oven broke.
We had to drive to Nana's to cook the Yorkshires then drive it all back.
I got a TARDIS today.
I need sleep.
I loved Wallace and Grommit.
I'm going.

God Bless.

xxx

Didn't remember

Yesterday either so I'm just saying sorry, to myself really.

I'll write a proper good Christmas one later.

Wednesday 24 December 2008

Damn

I forgot to write last night.
I was far too enthusiastic to read The Book Thief and closed my computer down.

Before that I was glued to Jigsawace.

Previous to that I went driving in Mum's car as the insurance to cover me is my Christmas present.
It was awful... I thought I could drive but the controls in that car were horrible.
Seems I'll need a lot more practice!

Technically this blog was for yesterday.

Bye.

Driving

I had my mock driving test today and although it was not amazing my test is still going ahead.
:)
I did some sorting and found a dead woodlouse in my room.
There's still so much more to do though before I can start any homework and such.
I watched Pan's Labyrinth today.
It was so long!
But quite good although I don't think I'll watch it again in a hurry.
Heroes is on tonight which is odd but I suppose it had to be rescheduled.
I'm getting excited now.
I just remembered I need to do a bit of video today!
Eeep.
Well that's all.

Toodles.

Dustbin Baby

I failed a day away again.
Sleeping till 9 is good.
Reading for an hour is lush.
Listening to Jon Richardson and Matt Ford is classic.
Especially if meanwhile you are playing Dinglepop.
Tidying your room is not as fun which is why I stopped after half an hour.
After a lunch of soup and watching Outnumbered I carried on internetting.
An interpretation of Jacqueline Wilson's Dustbin Baby was on TV and it was really good. Much better than the Double Act one a few years ago.
Then we watched Love Actually.
Meanwhile I drew the fiveawesomeguys thanks to Johnny's inspired blog.

I'm going for a wash early and going to read "The Book Thief" for a good hour.
I have a driving test mock tomorrow so mustn't get up too late!

Lushness.

Dinner Dance

I know it's Sunday but to me it is just an extension of Saturday.

My feet don't hurt that much because I had to get small heels because I cannot actually stand in regular ones but my toes are a bit squashed.

My ears are ringing from the hugely loud music.

I started today with my first lie in in months. Bring on the rest of the holidays!
I went to the hair dressers at 2 and ended up getting curls with rollers under one of those old granny perm hair dryers!

The food was OK tonight. A hearty soup. Turkey wrapped in bacon with roasties and veg.
The broccoli or what ever it was looked crazy... it was sort of asparagus and broccoli in one plant.
Oh and a slice of apple pie. It was rumoured one guy ate seven slices because he was promised a kiss from a girl. I feel very sorry for that girl.

I know my dancing is terrible but I just went for it anyway.

I think I'll put up some photos later.
Once I've slept.

I love life.

Friday 19 December 2008

Do I dazzle you? Frequently.

I know that's not from Twilight (I think it's Eclipse) and I don't mean to be all fan girly but OH MY GOODNESS!

I had one of those amazing days.
Even people saying "Is he a vampire?" when Jake first came on screen couldn't really annoy me.

I'm going to watch ITC in a bit but I really need to restart my computer so IE will work because my other YouTube acc is logged onto that.

Ahhhh dear.

LOVE YOU ALL!

Ding Dong Merrily on High

It was present day at school today.
It was lovely.
I ruddy love my friends and I don't say it enough.
Alicia with her Rubix cube.
"I don't mean to alarm anybody but I think I've cracked it."

Also, at lunch time today, I had pasta from the snack bar and they clearly gave me the veggie one instead of the bolognase. Then I bribed some lowersixth boys into doing my prefect duty for me with Santa lollies.

It was also the school Christmas concert tonight.
Went OK in my opinion.

"Imagine if it was just #lightly# plaited?"

I cannot wait till tomorrow. TWILIGHT!

D.F.T.B.A

Hazel and I have posted our Project for Awesome video and if anyone is reading this go comment on it. Actually, go watch all the other P4A videos too and comment and rate them as well.

Today was full of funny moments such as:

"Hey cattle what are you doing? I'm lowing"
"You're called Howard?!"
"Sorry I'm just a little bit enthusiastic"

Eeeeh deary me.

I'm sure this eve will bring equally hilarious antics but I want to post this now to promote our video a little.

Thanka all!

Edit - I've had a beautiful catch up chat tonight with Josh and Lolly from OBU. Ohhh I love the internet!

Tuesday 16 December 2008

Dancing, in particular the YMCA

In psychology we talked crime.
In English I had to sort out a kerfuffle.
In the next English lesson we had mince pies, Blackadder and japes.
General RE was the time for Christmas cards.
In our last fee we played consequences then walked into town.
Jen and I did a bit of shopping and then I met my mere and soeur.
KFC for tea then a Cadet party.

"The L Factor" at school tonight was absolutely fabulous.
I videoed most of it and it will soon be on YouTube.
I laughed rather a lot.
I'll never forget Mr. Murray's face, ever.

How I'd love to waffle but once again I just need to snooze.

Sunday 14 December 2008

Doing homework.

Is even harder at this time of year.

I've watched the Dr. Who Christmas special from last year again.
Watched The Notebook.

Hazel and I made our Project for Awesome video for Wednesday.

I love the internet.
People think I'd be able to cope without my mobile. They would be nearly right (except for when I'm out and about unless I could have constant 10p's and a reliable memory for numbers) but without the internet I think my world would collapse. Like they thought it was going to on the ITC the other day.

I've got a trashy mag from the clothes show left to read while I listen to the surgery on Radio 1.

S'laters.

Saturday 13 December 2008

Download the Jon Richardson Podcast.

I've been meaning to make this a title of a blog for a bit.
Today seemed suitable.

I got up late as I went to bed very late last night.
I had a much needed talk for sorting things out with a certain someone.
Thank you for that, it will be fine.

I then had to go get shoes for the Dinner Dance.
They're nothing special but still O.K.
I watched Wayne's World while wrapping Christmas presents.
I haven't done my work.
I've edited my new video.
I ate Chinese food and got this in my fortune cookie.

":) Seeing's believing, but feeling's the truth. :)"

I feel a bit odd, I'm having to rethink a fair chunk.
I'm happy though and that is sort of unexpected.
Good though.
It means I know that things will work the way we've agreed.

Oh. G'bye.

Friday 12 December 2008

Do you have the time to listen to me whine?

We had some sort of confession service this morning at school, the first time ever, and it was rather strange.
The priest kept pausing in strange places - mid sentence.

Psychology was just, regular.
Art was art.
My frees were strange.
Driving was good.
Watched Big Bang Theory when I got in which was immense.

We had our end of term Rangers party with the Wii projected on the wall which was fantastic.

I've got a video to edit.

ITC was hilarious indeed.

"Fasten the seatbelts on your ears Roy because I'm about to take them for the ride of their life."
"Sometimes I want to kiss your mind."

XD

Thursday 11 December 2008

Difficult to breathe due to laughter.

In a bit I'll got to bed.
Right now I'm catching up with the internet.
About an hour ago I was at school laughing my trolleys off at our quiz team "Volvic".
Such answers such as "Saudi Arabia", "George Best" and "Solomon Burk" were heard.
Earlier than that I was at Caitlin's eating copious amounts of fish and chips and watching Dr. Who.
Previously I was sat listening to the school orchestra.
English, Art and English preceded that.

I didn't like today until about 4 o'clock.

It got SO much better.
I'm still giggling.

I need sleep though so this is once again all.

Till tomorrow!

Dr. Pepper

For Sarah's Birthday I gave her 8 cans of Dr. Pepper.
The look on her face was priceless.

I've had a rather strange day today but now that its the end of it I feel much happier.
Things are finally sorting themselves out.
I think.

Well the whole school thing was not really worth it today but afterwards was great.
The Chinese eat as much as you want has decided to celebrate Christmas so had crackers.

I've had a, maybe not lovely, but totally needed, talk with someone and that's sorted now.

So are the photos I'm sending to Leeds.

I, once again, don't have time for this.

Danger! Snow!

Today has been possibly one of the most surreal of my entire existence.

Firstly I wake up thinking, "Miss Slane said we'd have had a blizzard, I wonder how deep the snow is." While at the same time Chris Moyles was spouting garbage that was, albeit keeping me awake, making my head hurt.

So I looked out of my window and was thoroughly disappointed because 4 cm of snow meant no lie in and no snow day.

During the regular morning hassle I was alerted to the fact that the so called 'Edward Cullen' was on TV.
Don't get me wrong, I'm as excited as the next fan girl about Twilight, but boys in books are better. He is NOT Edward and his laugh creeps me out.

Our car couldn't get up even a teeny tiny bank so we went back home and set out to get a bus instead. Our Dad being a teacher made us at least attempt to get to school. We ended up getting a lift from another teacher instead.

While at school we were trapped inside hearing rumours that all public transport had been stopped and watching a blizzard - at the same time listening to Emily try and learn #pah-twarr#.

We hear a window smash and someone had very nearly fallen through a 2nd story window.

No-one did much as lessons were so sparse.

Once I got home I watched last night's Big Bang Theory.
That show just gets better and better.

I'm not able to concentrate.

I have formed a love/hate relationship with sporcle.com and I have also realised that I have a ridiculously high self control rate in some cases.

I read and watch A LOT of things on the internet and I envy the was some people craft their blogs or what-have-you. However, I think I shall continue to type in short snappy sentences.

I crave a snow day.
I need that extra time to myself to sort.

G-B told us that we need suffering in our lives because it is only temporary and overall it is better.

I'm going to get an hour or so of this done, shower, edit my Art essay then take some time out to read.

Dedication

Would you believe this is my 70th post.
This is crazy.

I haven't written much recently and in the past when I've written I always ended up just blabbering about my day.

So here goes!

I woke up with my right arm aching and no desire to get out of my toasty warm bed and into the cold cold room.
Dad's car wouldn't start until we threatened it with the R.A.C. it then lived.
I got an essay back in Psychology that I hadn't understood and was terrible so I redid that.
We watched a video about Ted Bundy which was horrible and then talked about crime.
In my free I did some of my art essay as I did in art 4th.
In English we did more of "The Winter's Tale" which is good but I was so tired I started to fall asleep.

Have only really done homework since then too.

Both John Green and JohnnyDurham have posted this survey in their blogs.
I know it will make today's entry disturbingly long but I shall do it anyway.

1. What's your name?
Elizabeth. I think I've revealed this before... Haven't I?

2. What is your favorite thing to wear?
Bright tights, wrap around skirt and my Wicked top.

3. Last thing you ate?
I feel like I'm copying because John said toothpaste but technically this is right for me too.

4. One place you will NEVER eat at?
Well I assume I'll never eat at Taco Bell, I don't plan to go to America and if I do they don't appeal to me.

5. I say Shotgun, you say:
This always reminds me of John's books because its the first place I heard the phrase properly.
I say "stop being so American!".

6. Last person you hugged?
Daniel

7. Does anyone you know wanna date you?
I don't really know. Ask him?

8. Would you date anyone you met online?
Well, despite being scared by it I actually would.
But only after a lot of Skype-ing probably.

9. Name something you like physically about yourself:
My eyes.

10. The last place you went out to dinner to?
Table Table down the road.

11. Who is your best friend?
Caitlin

12. What time of the day is it?
10:46 PM

13. Who/What made you angry today?
Mrs. Smith wasn't in.
Life is hard.

14. Baseball or Football?
:| I think baseball. Only because I'm a rudimentary Twilight fangirl.

15. Ever gone skinny dipping?
I haven't.

16. Favorite type of Food?
Chicken based meals.

17. Favorite holiday:
The Christmas ones. Or as I like to think of them, my Birthday holiday.

18. Do you download music:
Rarely. I used too before Myspace went all odd.

19. Do you care if your socks are dirty?
Yeah but I could cope with dirty ones for a bit in certain cases.

20. Opinion of Chinese symbol tattoos?
I find them amusing on anyone who isn't Chinese really. I don't want to offend anyone but I'm sure there are more personally relevant things than just a word.

21. Would you date the person who posted this?
Before me?
Well I read both versions before deciding to join in.
John is married to Sarah and he's 12 years older than me and in America.
Johnny on the other hand ;) is local and beautiful. But I doubt I'd ever meet him in person.

22. Has anyone ever sang or played for you personally?
No.

23. Do you love anyone?
I do.

24. Are colored contact lenses sexy?
Not really.

25. Have you ever bungee jumped?

No.

27. Has anyone ten years older than you ever hit on you
Not to my knowledge.

Nope. (This quiz is rubbish when the answer is no.)

30. How is the weather right now?
Dark and drizzly.

31. What are you listening to right now?
Charlie singing a song by Bo Burnham. New Math.

32. What is your current favorite song?
Congratulations by Blue October

28 days later...

34. Do you wear contacts?
No.

35. Where was the last place you went besides your house?
School.

36. What are you afraid of?
Failure.

37. How many piercings have you had?
Just one in each ear like almost every girl I know.
But tbh I chose to at 16. Not like all those poor poor children who don't choose.

38. What piercings do you want?
None.

39. What's one thing you've learned this year?
Music wins.
YouTube wastes time but also brings some the BEST things in my entire life.
I can endure.
I'm a Nerdfighter to the end.
Life is immense.

40. What do you usually order from Starbucks?
I buy a smoothie usually.

41. What Magazines are you reading?
I rarely read magazines. I get Art Mag which is immense and am thinking of subbing to the Dr.Who one.

42. Have you ever fired a gun:
Not a real one. A laser quazer one and a water pistol and a plastic one and a cap gun.

43. Are you missing someone?
In some ways.

44. Favorite TV show?
The Big Bang Theory is one.

45. Do you have an obession with WoW?
No. I've never played. I've read and heard too much about it. I fear my adiction ability.

46. Has anyone ever said you looked like a celeb?
No.

47. What celeb do you look like?
I look like the turtle from "over the hedge".

48. Who would you like to see right now?
John said Shakespeare. I think that's good but I'd actually like to meet any of the people I subscribe to on YouTube.

49. Favorite movie of all time?
Difficult but I love Donny Darko, Ghost World, Mean Girls, any Tim Burton film.

50. Do you find yourself loved?
In some ways yeah.

51. Have you ever been caught doing something you weren't suppose to?
Yuh huh.

52. Favorite smell?
Food or wet tarmac or lovely boy.

53. Butter, plain, or salted popcorn?
SWEET. Which for some reason wasn't a listed option.

54. What's something that really bugs you?
The amount of time things takes. Good things go too fast and bad things too slow. Or some things that take up too much time. Also the fact I get annoyed by time, as I cannot change it.

55. Do you like Michael Jackson?
I sort of like his music. I think he's insane.

56. Taco Bell or Burger King?
Burger King based on limited experience.

57. What's your favorite perfume?
I used to love Cool Water. I like that DNKY apple one.
I don't really have a particular fave though.

58. Favorite baseball team?
No you.

59. Ever call a 1-900 phone number?
Nope.

60. What's the longest time you've gone without sleep?

Up mountains or on sofas.

63. Who was your last phone call?
Mum.

64. Last time you were at work?
I don't "work" a job. But I do a lot of school work...

65. What's the closest orange object to you?
Do I count the abundance of orange on my screen or just a pot of paint by my foot?

That took too long.

Constant vigilance!

Feeling a bit moody today.
Gettit?
Mad-eye?

I got back from Gorman's around half 10.
It was a pretty good night. A sort of tv party in the end.

Outnumbered is one of the best shows on tv. It embraces the true aspects of life, especially how small children are.

I did, once again, not nearly enough of what I planned to do.

Seriously tomorrow I need to SORT.
Life.
In many ways.

I'm not even watching Top Gear tonight.
I just couldn't be bothered.

I uploaded the new video to hazelizabeth.

I ripped Mean Girls from the DVD, for my Zen. This should be fine. It worked with Hairspray and Donny Darko.
BUT NO.
SPANISH.
I didn't even realise that was an option.

:(

I thought I might just throw some links in here to my internet life...

My own Youtube acc. is just for subscriptions.
TwinSkies and Blogtv are not even used so...

Considerable amount of nothing.

(13:01)
I've had a lovely lazy day so far.
I think I'll get some lunch.
(13:07)
I now have a beef sandwich and an avocado.
(13:38)
Psychology, finally, while I eat a yoghurt.
(15:58)
I've been painting. Dad's bought a full size sonic screwdriver.
Nerds win at life.
I want to go get read for Gorman's thing.
But it's only 4.
I'm not going till after half 6.
Might go shower now anyway then do hair and makeup and do some tidying.
Yeah I think I will.
(16:36)
In the process of make-up.
Cannot find my nintendo t-shirt so am wearing my homemade "Nerdfighter weapons of choice" top. I was gunna save it for non-uniform day but I don't wear it enough - tonight it is.
(16:44)
Don't forget your DS Liz.
(17:12)
Got distracted my youTube damnit.
(17:37)
I think Hazelizabeth's new video is upload worthy but I'll ask Haze when she returns first.

This is all I have time for because I want to shut my computer down soon.

BEST WISHES!

Computer lols

"It certainly helped me learn how to buy sandwiches"

Oh quality!
I've had a lovely day.

Psychology we talked about that disabled pets program that was on last night and how hilarious it was at points.
Art I got a good chunk further into my essay.
My frees this afternoon were spent whooping Emily's butt on the DS.
Then loosing at poker in 5th.
I also worked out while Daniel stole his bracelet back off me, to hide chemistry notes under, except he chickened out and only did a bit of them.

Driving was OK. Rangers was great too.
Charlie's show tonight was awesome. Magnificently so.

"I've got a mother flipping gun"

Love to y'all.

Chaotic

A word meaning little more than a busy mess.

That is life.
I couldn't stand it any other way though.
It is what keeps it exciting.

I realise that in my blog I seem to type in short snappy sentences.
I think it is just my way.
I love using long complex words and phrases when I speak but I've come to realise that only a few people are still listening and/or understanding me by the end of each sentence.

I need to edit a video now but it's already 9ish and I have very little to say about today apart from the Hazel inspired leaving present for 6 months time is in production and I'm well excited.

When I DO something then you'll have something fun to read.

TBH I don't have readers...

Context...

Gah!
I don't mind doing homework, I mean, it stops me wasting my time later with quite so much revision. But I wish I could pause real time while I did it.
Don't go telling me that it would be silly and that I'd wear myself out.
I know my electronic stuff wouldn't work thanks to Bernard's watch.
But I could still get some stuff done.

Or I could do my own stuff in my paused time, my reading and painting.
I really don't have enough time for reading or art that isn't school stuff.

It's only 7:51 atm though so I have quite a while to sort my English out.
Before Heroes.
And The Big Bang Theory.
"The whole universe was in a hot dense state then 14 billion years ago expansion started. Wait! The earth began to cool, the arthropods began to drool, Neanderthals developed tools, we build the walls we build the pyramids! Math, science, history, unravelling the mystery, that all started with the Big Bang. Bang!"

I had to abandon the second episode because I need sleep.
TOMORROW!

Day's like today are so comfortable.
I love life.

Chop

I had a hair cut this evening.
It looks hardly any different in my opinion.

I also went to try on dresses today again and still didn't find one suitable for the Dinner Dance.
They were all a bit strange shapewise.

I really need to sort out Christmas shopping.
This is not the place really to discuss what to get anyone.

I have alot of English to do.
Context and re-reading DoaS.

I need to make a new video.

I #borrowed# Daniel's bracelet today, it smells really nice, like him...
I wonder how long I can keep it for...

Tomorrow is a good day.
Free. Psychology. Art. Free. Free.
Lots of time for work... or just time.

I feel like I need a topic to discuss properly here.
But alas I don't for now.

Till tomorrow.

Certainty

I've had an odd day.
I woke up tired which is never fun.
In psychology we were studying eating disorders, its really scary because talking about the scary thin anorexic people makes me eat. I get really disturbed by their terrible state of affairs and even learning the Psychodynamic, Cognitive, Behavioural and Biological explanations just makes me feel rather strange. I have knowledge, other people know this, so why does it still happen, why is it still so out of control?
People still die from their own self denial of food.

My firefox doesn't seem to like me any more as now none of the constant thingys work.
To explain.
When on facebook I don't get notifications until I refresh.
On youtube my comment will say posting until I refresh then it looks posted.
On here it always says "Could not contact Blogger.com. Saving and Publishing may fail. Retrying..." when it used to save.
Oh yeah and Twitter doesn't update without me refreshing.
Qasalan Expellibox now never loads and neither do Friend Updates on Myspace.
Or the other shows on blogtv don't load.
I think I should re-download FF.

Well. English was nice this afternoon.
We swapped rooms with Mr. Hunter and were sat all around two tables rather than our normal spreadoutyness.
We were reading The Winter's Tale it was beautiful. GB's enthusiasm for Shakespeare is immense.
It was all cosy and nice.

:D

Overall a pretty darn tootin' fantastic day.

Nightums.

Sunday 16 November 2008

Congratulations to us.

We came third.
So right - here is the story.

We arrived at the scout hut at 6 ish.
We put up our tent then had a kit check.
We planned our trek.
At this point we were told that the whole night was Dr. Who themed.
I was so happy, we all were.
We started walking at half 7.
We got back to our tents at 3.
Yep, 7 and a half hours walking and doing tasks.
Our first task was a couple of puzzles in biscuit tins.
A word search of aliens from Dr. Who all whose names began with C.
Chip wasn't in the grid so that sent us to the next box.
Then we had to do a sudoku to find the next number.
Then a crossword thing which was class because we knew all the answers the Whovians we are.
The last box had a picture of a Cyberman wearing a scout uniform giving us a clue.
The next stop was Unit stopping us to retrieve bits of a satellite and count radioactive material.
We got a message from the Daleks for doing so.
Our next stop was a tea and coffee point.
One of the guys Sam was going to be 20 in 20 mins being it nearly midnight so we sang Happy Birthday.
They noticed that we were "remarkably female" seeing as we were the first Rangers to ever do this Scout orientated thing.
On the way to the next stop we passed a few groups of Scouts and I recognised Nathan from Outward Bound which was uplifting.
The next stop involved each of us harnessing up and climbing a tree to then attach ourselves to a rope and shimmy along.
By this point we'd been walking for about 5 hours and were very muddy and pretty much worn out.
But we had to bridge the rift in time and space so we did.
The last stop was matching pairs of painted sticks for which we got the best time of the night despite it being just after 2 in the morning.
It was amazing despite the wearing out-ness.
Marc from Outward Bound was also there which was class to see him again.
I was like, "Hi, Mouse."
He was like, "Didn't expect to see you here."
Then we came 3rd. I think we got extra points for our hats though.
I got a certificate and badge but I'm not photographing them for once...
:D

I slept till lunch and I'm contexting now.

Later I'll sleep some more!

Bleh.

Saturday 15 November 2008

Chronic

Early today.
I'm going out at 5 to a thing called Midnight Madness.
And it is just that.
We walk from 7 pm till we finish.
Then we camp.

It'll be different because we're the first guides to ever do it.
It's a scout thing so girl scouts do it.
But never Rangers.

So here's to experimentation.

The pile of stuff on my floor looks so silly.
But necessary.

Right.
Canto 2.
Must make some progress at some point.

But for now I have Hurricane Gold to read as I realised I missed that one out and I cannot read By Royal Command until I've read this one.

So yeah.
Till tomorrow.

Adiós.
(I love spell check for the accents/umlauts!)

Children in Need

That's Riiight.
I'm watching it now, I feel I should.
That and I'm pretty sure the Dr. is on next.
I'm disgraced by the new Pudsey though.
They seem to have phased out the old one entirely which is silly.
I cannot STAND Fern Cotton either.
Not when she was on Diggit when she was like 17, not now.

We had a photo shoot today up in the school attic.
It was one of the strangest experiences of my life.
Look.

The time it took to do this I've been thoroughly teased by the Dr.

OH!
IT Crowd and The Big Bang Theory are back next week.
OH MY GOSH YES!

"Your best perk is using a sharp knife on a box of beans" - Mum
That is about being a store manager at Lidl.
No offence if you are right.
But that was hilarious.

Well then.
I could go on.
But I wont.
It's QI soon and that demands my full attention.

Toodles.

Crazy Hats

That's us in Jen's garden in our tent for Saturday night for Mid Mad.

I bought the Dr.Who mag today.

I also had an amazing English lesson before lunch.

I don't have time to type my thoughts.

But I refuse to miss a day for lack of effort.

:)

Buhbye for now.

Wednesday 12 November 2008

Cryptic

I feel like my life is sort of like the conundrum Penny and Leonard had to face at the end of the first series of "The Big Bang Theory".

There is a situation that can be described in the same way as Schrödinger's cat.
A paradox.
Both alive and dead. Equally alive or dead.

I WANT TO OPEN THE BOX.

Except it isn't just my decision.

This box has two sides that must be opened simultaneously...

If anyone watched TBBT then they'll understand what I mean.

On a similar line of thought one of John Green's suggested band names for an Art Rock band would be Schrödinger and the Maybe Dead Cats.
Which I think is fantastic.

ALSO

One of the best songs on Chameleon Circuit's up and coming album is Blink.
The episode it's about has the Weeping Angels that are "quantum-locked", which means they don't exist when seen but are deadly when unobserved.
It's amazingly relevant.

Much love.

Tuesday 11 November 2008

Cold

I think I'm getting one.
My voice keeps on cracking.

Today was remembrance day.
11.11.08

90 years since the end of World War I.

In which A.A.Milne. (Winnie the Pooh) J.B.Priestly (An Inspector Calls) J.R.R.Tolkein (Lord of the Rings) fought. Imagine a world without them.
It's hard.
Then think of all those who died.
20 million.
All the possible geniuses who were killed for what?
A war to end all wars?
Hardly!
A war to spur another.
Also Walt Disney and the guy who wrote Dr. Doolittle. They drove ambulances in WWI.

It's scary.

So today our English class read poems to all the classes in the school.
It felt good to spread the word.

On the other hand James forgot sweets for general RE and that sucked.

I've got to write an essay tomorrow about The Great Gatsby and if chapter 7 is pivotal.
Which it blatantly is.

I'm off to watch any vids on my youTube sub list.

Nightums.

Charlieissocoollike... made Jen sort of famous

He put that face replace photo in his video.
If anyone happens to be reading this due to face replace I salute you.
*waves*

Most likely though it is still only Sarah reading this.

We started our work on The Winter's Tale today.
It is going to be GREAT.
I love GB's Shakespeare teachings.

I also finished reading Looking for Alaska again.
Loved it once again.
Seriously it is making me pine for Paper Towns even more.

We had a really strange Psychology lesson today where we talked about

Elvis's apparent 100,000 calorie a night diet.
He ate three of those a night apparently.
A loaf, butter, a jar of jam, a jar of peanut butter, mashed bananas and a pound of bacon.

MENTAL!

well I don't have much else to twitter about.
Or tweet as it seems the verb has become.

It escapes me.

Seriously I've been daydreaming ALL day.

Got some stuff done mind.

Just geesh.

Song lyrics keep appearing in my head and then I tangent think for a good ten minutes.

Britannia High is so cheesy, just watch-able though.
So so watch-able.

It'll be Top Gear soon.

I'm filled with longing.

Pretty darn fantastic again but now I'm actually worn out.
I'm not used to or built for three nights out on the trot.
Especially with early mornings.

Church in the morning at half 9 as well because its remembrance Sunday.

Chess = fantastic.

Well then.
Today was pretty fantastic.
It's Helen's Birthday so she'd made a cake which we ate while watching a video about a 4stone 16 year old...
Then I learned about Rodin.
All 4th I read Alaska...
and 5th we played poker in which I won overall every last chip.
Then I went driving.
Then I went to Nando's.

Then on a walk around Durham to see the lights.

Then to see Chess which was FANTASMAGORICAL!

Oh Happy Day!

But now I'm going to sleep as it's Embroiderer's Guild in the morning... then dress shopping and McFly.

Phewph!

Thursday 6 November 2008

Carling for the win!

Today was pretty gosh darn fantastic.
We had a mass for St. Leonard's feast day today... the patron saint of prisoners.

Tonight was Scouting For Girls.
Immense.
Sam Beeton

He was sweet but sounded Australian even though he's from Nottingham and he has a harmonica called Barry...
Then it was The Days (who we met afterwards and the signed the postcard-y thing)

They were pretty class.

Then Scouting For Girls rocked the place out...
"BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL. I HAVE THE POWER!"

I'm buzzin' but I want to make this blog on Thursday so I'm stopping now!

Cripes! It's bonfire night...

I didn't go see any... but I can hear them.
I've already got a cold and I don't want to make it worse by going to stand in the cold and wet...
I spoil all the fun.

But really I've had a spiffing day!

Might be going on another Outward Bound thingy, this time just a weekend, with school!
YEY!
I got a yes referencing yesterdays blog.
Obama won.
I just finished a new video for mine and Hazel's collab channel.
Both lessons I had today were useful and worthwhile and I had two productive frees and a fun one.

Johnnydurham19 wrote about this in his blog.
I too think it's lush enough to pass on.

Early post tonight because I'll forget if I leave it!

Concerned

About many a thing.
One of those being that I really really want Obama to win the election.
I'm not claiming to know much.
But I actually know more about American politics at the moment than I ever have about the English counterpart. Which is crazy. But alas I cannot vote being 7 weeks away from 18 and in the UK.
I just think, from what I've heard, he's fairer on almost every topic and with him there isn't a chance Palin might end up in power.
Fingers crossed.
Oh and I'm going to research UK politics so that I'll feel informed.

I've been watching Blackadder tonight due to the fact that I needed to do some Synoptic English and this was the best way by FAR.

We got formally invited to the 6th form Dinner Dance today.
I plan on asking someone in the morrow so fingers crossed there aswell.

I fear for my own mental health.
By Sunday afternoon I think I might have imploded.
What with disturbed sleep due to fireworks the last few nights and tomorrow.
Scouting for Girls, Chess the Musical and McFly (Thursday, Friday & Saturday respectively) and then an overload of homework and Remembrance Sunday this Sunday.
I fear for my ability to cope.

Anyhoo.
I'm off to watch Buck's new video.

Tatty bye!

Monday 3 November 2008

Control, unbelievable self control

Today Paper Towns arrived in the post.

So I got my photo with it.
But as it says I'm not reading it for another 7 weeks.
SEVEN WEEKS
I don't think I can cope knowing its in the house.

Back at school today.
An unexpected Psychology test on child development.
Watched Nightmare Before Christmas on Chiara's laptop.
Art painted on shoes and English discussed Brand/Ross and Noah's ark.

Oh right tonight I had a hot chocolate.
But me and Hazel decided to share the "toffee" and "mint chocolate" half a packet each.
DON'T DO THIS!
It tastes worse than mingles.
Eurgh.

Never again.

But I'm going to sleep now...

Twitterrwoooo.

Sunday 2 November 2008

Cars, or this week Lorries.

Thats right kids Top Gear is back and its laughable once again.

I wasted a day away procrastinating again.
I did finish my Byron essay though. Just.
I took some photos of my daily mes from October.
This is all of them, then a few of my favourites.

I'm addicted to the internet.
I spent over an hour watching Charlie and Alex record Chameleon Circuit songs with NSG.
And only because of Twitter.
And that because of YouTube.
Its so linked,
I love it.

Mind you I'm mighty drained so I'm going now.
No more rambles now.

Canto 1

Dear Lord Byron,

I fail to understand why I must write an essay about your work.

Scrap that.

Dear Educational director-y people.

Could you please make some sort of exam based on understanding, discussion and argumentative multiple interpretations without having to write a timed essay?

No?

Oh.

Fail.

Today I didn't manage what I should have but I got some thoughts scribbled down for a story.
I'm not officially going to do Nanowrimo.
But I'm going to start this month.

Bring on November

Today was odd but nice.
I've been out of the house since 9am.
We went to Edinburgh Art Collage to visit.
It was lovely.
The shop called Paper Tiger was immense too I got a diary for 09 there.
:)

I cannot believe it but Mum's got me Paper Towns for Christmas and so I cannot touch it yet.
It's infuriating.
Seriously.

I like eating at Café Rouge. Tesco vouchers ftw.

I've got to copy some music tomorrow and then write an essay.
Serious knuckling down.

It didn't seem like Halloween this year.

S'all. Gooten Nicht.

Bit of a holiday

I went driving this morning.
Sorted out a backup harddrive and then spent hours sorting photos.
Went to Jen's housewarming rangers get-together this evening.
We cooked pasta with tomatoey veggie stuff and watched the Emperor's New Groove.
"Squeekum"

This means I still haven't touched my school work.
With a trip to Edinburgh Uni tomorrow this means despite my need to go out Saturday I wont.
Due to essayness.

Well that's really all.
I'd love to have time to type my opinions on the Brand/Ross debate.
Or the new Dr. rumours.
Or anything else.
But I'm going to sleep peeps.

"Balamory"

Wednesday 29 October 2008

Boy in the Striped PJ's

Woke late...
Was at the cinema in Teeside for 11:55.

Not as good as the book but still pretty good.
Then we ate at Morrison's which is full of charvs and old people but serves surprisingly good food.
In the car we sang to the 4 Chameleon Circuit songs I have on my mp3 player.
I cannot wait till their album is out.
Trock f.t.w.
"Running through the snow with my brain in my hands"

Since then I've edited together a Paris vid for Hazelizabeth... minus any Hazel.
And now I'm off to watch embarrassing bodies.

Tomorrow I must start some school stuff.
Or else!

Boatloads to say

Christian Bonnefoi

Must crack on then...

So actually Thursday the traffic wasn't so bad, got to the Airport and did all that sort of stuff fine.

Arrived in Paris and then Coached to the hotel...

The room was teensy.

There's Jen on her tiny high bed thing.

So we then set off out a bit later than expected...

By the time we got the right trains over to where we should have been it was half 9 and we sniffed out our restaurant.

The food was actually pretty good albeit 10 by the time we ate.

So we went to see the Sacré-Coure which we should have seen at 6:30ish.

It was closed obviously and these drunk guys followed us and were photo'd in our group shots.

I didn't let my camera out of my hands so I don't have one of those yet.

We wandered off around the artists quarter and got back to our B and B (as that is what it was really) at about midnight.

We got up really early the next morning because we had to find the Orangrie museum for half 9.

Then the Louvre for 10:45.

A river tour at about 3 on the same boat (or at least firm) from out trip in year 8!

On the way I saw this boat…

It made me smile… I almost missed the photo too!

It was late enough for us to swap the order of events again.

To eat and THEN go to the Arc de Triomphe.

Saturday we went to the Musee D'Orsay.

Thanks to Aydn we have a shot of us for that isn’t just arms length.

It was here I saw my favourite piece of Art on the entire trip.

It’s just so lovely.

Picasso Museum.

Running the whole length of the museum was this mirror.

Notre Dame.

Then Thurly Wurly took us to see the Louvre in the dark...

Long exposure makes it look like it is on fire.

Then dragged us off back to the artist quarter near the Sacré-Coure again... for an unknown reason as I think no-one actually wanted to go.

Anyhoo Sunday was Rodin.

Everyone else puts up photos of the thinker whereas I just love the lamppost outside with everyone’s entrance stickers on.

There’s me showing my Nerfighterness Europewide.

Actually going UP the Eiffel tower. (Late of course because stupidly they thought we'd cancelled)

The Pompidou Centre of modern art was amazing at about 5... although we were unbelieveably knackered so didn't enjoy it quite as much as I could have.

There was one installation that was interractive and I persuaded the others to help me spell D.F.T.B.A. as Nerdfighting and decreasing world suck is one aim of mine that will never fade.

This is extreme not forgetting to be awesome.

I used my first Dyson Airblade though :D GO GO Richardson!

We then went to the "posh restaurant" of the trip and had... I'll let you guess Chicken and CHIPS!

Obviously the meal of choice of ALL English people.

Monday. i.e. Yesterday: Breakfast early because due to our protests we were going to go shopping and NOT back to Notre Dame to try and see the gargoyles.

Sneddon left his bag and the coach was late and then the computers crashed at the airport and so we get back at around 6 English time.

I've been watching tv, sorting photos and sleeping from then on.

I need to start my homework mind.

That's tomorrow!

xxx

Edit: this is the 21 Metro tickets and the other three Eiffel Tower, Orangrie and Boat tour!

I've got my driving theory in the morning too.

An early Halloween Party because it was the last Cadets of term.
I ruddy love Tuesdays.

I did the protruding knuckle fracture (right)

Pretty darn awesome!

That program was enlightening.
I have to find my Blue Peter badges at some point.
They are nearly as important to me as my Outward Bound badge!

I think today deserves a photo so today a screenshot.

Nerdfightastic.

Birthday party of strangeness

I'm posting VERY early today because I'm off out to Caitlin's Murder Mystery party in just over an hour.

Byron annoys me and tomorrow I'm going to have to type very very hard.

I love iPlayer. Go BBC!

I've started this project. So far in October every day I have drawn a picture of myself.
It dawned on me this could be something I do for the rest of my life.
I honestly think I'm at least going to attempt a year.

Well I'm off to get ready, to find some clothes that make me feel like Jock Latt.

Love to your mothers.

That's like bring a friend. Except she'd have come anyway :p

Bee-ay-eee-youtiful

Ohmygosh.
<3 my camera.

That's been pretty much my day.

Those who know me look to my facebook.

Context questions scare me.

Ok, My invite for Caitlin's Birthday party came yesterday...

I decided to photograph it.

Meh Camera too.

And a good day was had by all.
More or less.

Wednesday 15 October 2008

Bee, Dancing Bee.

This is productivity.

I'm writing really early today.
Heroes is on at 9 and I don't want to end up forgetting again!

So we're all on little silver threads and God can tug us back.
We shouldn't stretch them.
OCD is fascinating and Freud thought it came from over strict toilet training.
Those lovely silver pens give me a headache.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to get any work done with Danny Mac nearby.
He doesn't shush.
I'm better at photoshop than Lexi :D

I've not watched Hollyoaks in over a week.

Life is OK I suppose.

<3

Edit: I also got my letter for Cait's BD party on Sat.
Looks interesting!

Buddhist?

General R.E.
It gets better every week.
What's a Hindu? Lay eggs.
What's a Buddhist? Doesn't lay eggs.
Who would win in a fight: Moksha or Charizard?

Purple Opalfruits taste odd now they're natural.

Tomorrow I should get a letter in the post from Caitlin's brother detailing what I'll have to do for the party on Saturday!

Oooo well.
That'a another Tuesday gone...

Band-age... (See what I did)

Uh-oh

I had fun tonight meaning I haven't done my context.

HELP!

Well it was absolutely classic even though I was tired as.

"Time and again boys are raised to be men"

The first support backfired, yesterday I liked folk, now I don't.
Soz boz.
Second support "Absent Elk" were pretty amazing.
Then the main thing.

Shoobadoopadoop

Well.

I found out that Martin watched my Vlog today...
*waves*

Good golly I'm tired and up in 6 hours or so to type...

GARGH

Blundering Sunday!

I forgot, I'm gutted.

So here's Sunday's.

Went to see Rich Hall.

Barrel of Laughs.

I now have a vague love of country music.

Big tall James made that well song work.

Rich signed the ticket :o!

Well that was Sunday.

Today's will come after the Hoosiers.
